FRACTURE II

My other intricate ice images represent more of a simpler and minimal appearance. Viewing this scene right next to the first version of 'Fracture' possibly even being just inches away, I was drawn to all the chaos. I understand it's probably not your cup of tea and you may have just walked by it but for some reason, I really liked this little scene on the edge of a frozen peat bog. No matter how hard I tried to adjust the composition with my tripod and zoom in and out with the telephoto striving to make it simpler and more 'pleasing' to the eye. Unfortunately, I just found no way of doing that. Instead for a change...I embraced the ‘chaos’ and worked with it, not against it, which was a new lesson learned for me
