The Uncombed UnderstorY

 

Steadily walking beneath the fragile canopy keeping an eye on the tree roots which are tucked into the deep snow like traps, trudging through the thick white carpet slowly, avoiding unsettling the beautiful collection of snow, which gracefully and delicately balances on the uncombed understory of an old tree.

Completely in awe, mezmerized by the characterful patterns that encircle me as my eyes focus on the soft glow of the winter light passing through.

The sound of a small brook trickling away fills the air and creates a feeling of tranquility.

Winter is my favourite.
